Today's Outfit

After downloading this picture, I changed my jacket for one without the fur collar.  It looks much better!  Note the leopard print belt matching the scarf...

I added some clip-on earrings that give a vintage touch to my outfit.

  2. I must tell you that I'm not a big fan of the double denim, despite it's a trend that is making a huge come back.
But that scarf really makes the outfit.

And what a nice header you have now, good work.

  3. Living in Texas so long I guess I thought denium was the foundation of every wardrobe. I'm not, however, a big fan of animal prints.

I had to move my blog to a new address. I hope you will follow me there. http://hillinlr.blogspot.com/

  4. Yeah....I probably need to move on from denim, huh? It's just so darn comfortable and easy to come back to...and for my lifestyle, pretty practical.

  6. Oh, no!! Please dear don’t get me wrong!!!
If you’re saying you should move on from denim because I said I’m not a big fan of double denim please don’t. I was just saying that I prefer just one piece of denim in an outfit.
You know my comments are sincere, that’s the way I like to be and move around blogosphere, so I can feel that people know I’m honest.
We say Double Denim when is Denim on the top and bottom of an outfit.
Double Denim was a big 80’s trend and we all know Double Denim has made a huge come back lately and almost every celeb out there is wearing it.
I think the key to getting it right is wearing two completely different shades of denim. Black jeans and a blue denim jacket seem to be a big hit, I think this looks great. A way I think matchy denim will work is with a little denim vest, as long as you pair it with a top of a different colour so you break up the shades.
So I can’t say I will not be wearing double denim too.
I wasn’t telling you not to wear denim. Of course denim is so comfortable and appropriated to your lifestyle. And you rock it!!!!!!
Please forgive any mistakes my previous comment could have caused and I hope I had erase them, I’m glad I came back, something was telling me I should.
Now I need you to please tell me something, this has disturbed me.

    xoxo

  11. Love the fur collar denim jacket; perfect for the scarf!

If you want to avoid the double denim look (which I like when the denims are two very different colors) you could always wear that jacket with a slim black pant.
