Straw Hat Replaces Red Hat

It's the Second Tuesday of the Month - the regular meeting of our No-Longer-Red-Hats Group.  Though it's May, it feels more like early March.  Wet.  Cold.  Windy.  I'm wearing warm colors - a brown, linen tunic top and black skirt.  Black belt ties the tunic; brown shoes complete the outfit.

Since we're no longer RED Hats, I might at least carry this STRAW hat...

  1. Why aren't you red hats any more. I obviously missed something. I love the hat. Sorry about the weather. Glad tho to see your camera is doing better.

  2. I love straw hats ... nothing says summer or vacation like a straw hat. Thank you for visiting my blog. About the incline and 6 mph thing: I took it to be that walking 3.5 mph at 15% incline is equivalent to running at 6 mph. In other words, a minute of one is equal to a minute of another.

  3. Hi Rebecca...How come the group changed their name? Just curious. Oh! By the way, I checked with my sister on the "stained glass" materials in the bathroom window post. She used galley glass window color paints by Plaid and the dark areas were done with liquid leading , also by Plaid. Hope that helps. Sincerely, Susan

  4. There's an old saying here in the UK "red hat, no knickers", meaning, I suppose, that you've spend all your money on your outward appearance and had neglected everything else!
Love the straw hat, very chic. Pleased to see the camera's back to normal, too!

  5. The brown/black combo looks great. Our weather is unseasonable cool and wet too.

  7. Brrr... it's chilly here too. I'm liking the straw hat! Making efforts to stay out of direct sun too much and this is one item on my "must-find" list.
