introducing #10

This is our newest granddaughter.  While everyone else played in the swimming pool, she and I got acquainted!  I held my cell phone out in front of us and took these pictures.  I didn't want to miss capturing our first moments together.....
She's our 10th grandchild (4th granddaughter).
Her name is the Ethiopian equivalent of the Biblical name Phoebe.

  1. Hi Rebecca...What a lovely new granddaughter you have. She has beautiful, sparkling eyes.

One time in my life, when I was a member of Amnesty International, we wrote hundreds of letters on behalf of a political prisoner in Ethiopia. We eventually got word he was RELEASED from prison! While Amnesty never takes credit for such a happening, all of us letter writers felt, in our hearts, that our letters had not gone unnoticed.

Anyway, God bless you, your new granddaughter, and all your family. Susan
