trays and tins

When it came time to find a place to store the black tole tray
(read more of the story here),
I got into a stash of OTHER trays
that I've purchased at thrift stores over the years.
As you can see, several of them are blue and white.
I think I have enough.  Until I find the next one...

  1. LOVE that last one.
    I know I have enough.
But more than enough seems to be calling to me...

  2. Hi Rebecca....Oh, I love trays, too. But when I get some of them home, I don't know what to do with them! ha! Take care and have a nice Tuesday night! Susan

  3. I love the blue and white Dutch look. When I was in high school, I got to go on a trip to Washington D.C. and we all got to see Mount Vernon. I bought a little square tile that looks like your last picture.
Yet another thing we are both drawn to!

  5. Rebecca....I am in the process of "cleaning" up my pantry....a place where apprently I keep things other than food...sigh. I've come across sooo many trays in there that I thought I couldn't live without or part with....but, alas, I'm in the mood this week, and they are leaving me. Some of them I got at businesses that were going "under" years ago...(serving trays, etc.) I don't need nor use them. Some of them needed to have been sorted and tossed years ago....I just didn't/couldn't do it. Today is the day!! Ironic that your blog is on "trays".... Perhaps my trays are telling me, "No, No....just one more day (year) please!! " :))
    Lovely trays, Rebecca.
    Hugs and love,
    Jackie

  7. Rebecca, thank you for visiting, yes, every Season I work for the Salvation Army as a Bell Ringer collecting Donations. They are my next door Neighbors & have been Friends and a Blessing to my Family for many, many years and do so much within our Community {and the World} so I enjoy giving back of my Time and Talents during the Holiday Season for a couple of Months. Officially I'm retired from the Corporate World and my two major Careers {Banking and the DA's Office}, so now for the majority of the year I can concentrate on my Family, raising the 2 G-Kids we have living with us and being an Artist. I suppose I'll never completely 'retire'... as long as I'm able to do something I probably will. *Winks*

I too Love Tole Trays, I have quite an assortment of them and we actually use many of them daily like TV Trays... the G-Kids love picking out favorite designs for their Trays to eat on & it helps with clean-up. *LOL* Yes, I'm a laid back Bohemian Gramma... eat where ever you feel most comfortable... inside, outside, various rooms... never have been a stickler for eating in one spot myself. *Smiles*

Blessings & a Happy Thanksgiving from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
