february mantel

The nativity sets have finally been put away to make room for February decor.
♥I scattered a few pieces of my red tin collection
among some floral pieces and candles.
I also created a Valentine Message for the chalkboard that hangs next to the mantel--
which was a curb find (Free)!
Everything else was purchased at thrift stores.

  5. Loving that "Lucky You" Red Tin in your collection! The Mantle looks Lovely... I'm contemplating how to dress mine up for Valentine's Day.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit and kind words... yes, the Morton Salt Motto surely applies! *Winks* Can't make too many visits to the Hospital since it's an hour's drive each way and we can only spend about 10 minutes with him since he's so sick... battling pneumonia and a 106 fever the Docs can't seem to regulate downwards. It just upsets the children to see him this way and the commute is too much for them... so I told him we'll call each other when he's feeling up to it instead. You're about the 4th Person to suggest a Bubble Bath... funny thing is our old House was built in the middle of nowhere at the turn of the Century so has no indoor Tub, just stand up Shower Stalls with Saloon Style Doors in tiny cubby bathrooms. The only Tub is an old Clawfoot one in the back half of the property outside... now, I'm an old Hippie so no inhibitions there... but The Son's Cottage is nearby and if anyone traipsed by and I'm out there in the buff, well, they'd probably need lots of Therapy to get that image unseared from their psyche?!? *LOL* So for now I'm settling for Zen Moments curled up in bed while the G-Kid Force is in School.

Blessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
