rough and ready

I purchased this off of Craig's List yesterday.
It's in rough shape, but I'm ready for a transformation!
Fortunately, I have a husband who can make it happen!

  5. Yes...you do have a hubby who can transform this rough piece into a ready one.
As I read your blog title and the description, I thought of our Lord and how He transforms us....from rough...to ready.
    Love you, my friend,

  7. I can't wait to see your Transformation of this piece, it has lovely bones and I'm certain will turn out well. Thanks for stopping by for a Blog Visit and to offer Encouragement. I only have a small Vintage Hat Collection and the rest I Sell to suppliment our Retirement Income, since raising the G-Force can be expensive and especially since they're growing like weeds. *winks* Nice quality Vintage and Unique finds sell better than true Antiques, because typically they're more affordable and appeal to the non-collectors as well as serious collectors so I always try to stock my Showroom with as many of them as I can Source and pass along a good Bargain to my Loyal Customers and the Pickers who come to me to Source items for their Clients. Its so much Fun to Hunt for Found Treasures, I feel born to do it. But it is Annoying and extremely creepy when someone is following you around a Shop (for whatever reason), its just not socially acceptable behavior, but what can you do if thats the way they roll, if its too invasive I usually talk to Management about them so that it can be their problem to deal with.

  8. Judging from the work I've seen before, this will be a gorgeous piece when your husband finishes with it.
