It doesn't get much thriftier than free
(or purpler than above)!
After church this morning, my husband and I
parked the car and set out for a leisurely walk
through an unfamiliar (to us) neighborhood.
I used my cell phone now and then to capture sights
that interested me.
I wish I'd taken more photos now.
There were so many unique features and lovely landscapes.
This last one seemed especially significant and reassuring
as we returned home to the news of the horrific happening in Orlando.
Thankful that the best things in life are simple and require no money--
including prayer.
I really like the color PURPLE....but not sure I'd want to live in a purple house. LOL Great pics...really like the GOD HEARS!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was such an intriguing sight (the purple sight). I couldn't help but stop and look at every little detail and would love to meet the folk who live there.
DeleteLovely post. I so enjoy exploring new neighborhoods, old homes and gorgeous gardens. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tammy. You, too (the good week). Yes, besides the health benefits of fresh air and walking, I get inspiration for tweaking OUR property and just plain old enrichment as I enjoy the beauty for what it is...
DeleteWhat fun to stroll through a different neighborhood. Now that purple house is a bit too purple for me, but still lovely. It makes my plum colored house look tame. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that last photo.
Have a great week and thank you so much for your kind comments ~ FlowerLady
Yes, it DOES make Plum Cottage look tame :)
DeleteOh my..those houses do look familiar but can't place them for sure. Did you go to church in Auburn?
ReplyDeleteNo - went to Grabill Missionary - but drove UP to Auburn :)
