passing the hour

 As you probably have observed,
I never tire of getting away to Barnes and Noble!
I select a stack of magazines
(as does my partner),
 we find a table,
and contentedly (and carefully) turn the pages...
dreaming and gathering as we pass the hour.
(THIS time, as I passed through the store,
it seemed to me there were more aisles of toys.
I wonder if this is coincidence or somehow related
to the recent closing of Toys-R-Us.)

  1. Now that you mentioned it, it does seem our local bookstore has put in more toys than usual.

    1. I shouldn't complain. I don't actually BUY much at Barnes and Noble, I'm afraid... I was just surprised by the multiplication of toys.

  2. Good morning Rebecca. I can certainly relate to your post this morning. I, too, go to my close Barnes and Noble to look at magazines. I usually buy a hot chocolate at the Starbucks there and spend hours looking at my favorite magazines. BTW....love the ones you have chosen to share....
