I've never regretted the color we selected for our bedroom wall years ago.
This thought struck me when I woke up this morning
and turned on the lamp--
something else I don't regret....purchasing the lamp, I mean.
At a thrift store, I'm sure.
Learning contentment is an everyday process for me.
ReplyDeleteWe have so much to be thankful for.
Have a lovely week dear Rebecca ~ FlowerLady
I like the lamp, the color of the shade is a favorite of mine. What a great thought provoking poem. One I think I'll copy and use in a future art project. Thanks!

Lovely post....that is what I always felt about my kitchen wallpaper..that is no more. Some things are just right from beginning. In our hall bath, I turned one piece of wallpaper on its side and hubby nearly had a stroke that night thinking I goofed. Lots of compliments on that and it still hangs there after 30 years.
ReplyDeleteI ♥ that story, Claudia! (I'd like to see a photo of it, too!)
DeleteI love to thrift shop but after bringing many of my mother's lovelies here there's no space. I've been enjoying going with Emily. She's a spray paint queen and her little love nest is adorable with all her "finds." The lamp is beautiful!
