This collection of mine
is difficult
to explain
at almost every level.
So I won't try.
I can't remember how it started
and have no idea when it will end.
All I know is that it has cost me little
and leaves me a little speechless...
Your collection is lovely especially Mary and Joseph. I have a cement statue of Mary in my garden. She is so serene.
ReplyDeleteYour mention of the cement statue reminds me I have St. Francis in one of our flower beds. He needs to come in for the winter! :)
DeleteYour collection is lovely, and I see many things around that would interest you. I consider buying them myself, but have no room. I have yeiled to a nice Madonna on my desk, a Navahjo Madonna, and a Navahjo angel. I particularly like your all white Madonna...have seen and may yeild to that too someday!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to know there's someone else who is tempted.....I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have purchased any of these if they had been more than a quarter!
DeleteNot hard to explain to me at all! I love religious statues and have lots... Yours are so nice!
ReplyDeleteYour collection is lovely. These days I collect very little. No room to put it after storing my books and crafting items. Once those are used or read, I try not to buy more. Sometimes the plan works and sometimes not ;-)
ReplyDeleteI seriously try not to buy more myself! I'm mostly successful MY current challenge is disposing of the collections. I have separate excuses for holding on to each one. THIS one is that it takes up so little room....
