Almost 31 days into my 71st year...
feeling a bit wild and free.
Free to sit and do nothing
or anything else that I choose.
It's a great time of life
(if a bit daunting).
I've given up haircuts for awhile,
wondering how long it will grow
before I give in.
This experiment is symbolic
of something else, I believe.
I just haven't figured out what yet.
At any rate, I've saved the money
of haircuts.
Maybe that's enough.
I love this photo of you. My hair is down to the middle of my back now. I wanted long hair as a little girl but my Mom wouldn't allow it. I met Mark when I was 17 and he liked long hair and I've had it long ever since. :-) I get it trimmed now and then.
ReplyDeleteI will be 71 on the first day of spring this year.
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
I turned 70 on Christmas Day.....
DeleteI'm glad Mark liked long hair. I think of it as your "signature".
I think a trim would be appropriate for me one of these days.
We are very close in age, and I love this photo, it tells me we could sit down and have a good happy chat together. Well, that is what I imagine.
ReplyDeleteTerra, I'm confident we could! Wouldn't that be wonderful?!?
