It was a beautiful day today.
I'd read about garage sales in a nearby small town,
so my husband and I decided to take a drive and check them out.
We counted our walk from sale to sale as our therapy walks prescribed post-surgery.
The Madeline books above were one of my purchases. I can't pass them up!
The door knob was in a "free box"!
It cleaned up beautifully.
And how about these pedestals?
And there was MORE!
What a fun day. I can just imagine the creative wheels turning as you two find and try to think of ways to use and redo a found item. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the door knob. I always like door knobs but never know a good creative way to use them!
ReplyDeleteNo, I have not read Wish You Were Here. My book club read Last Night at the Lobster...it was small and a Christmas book. We universally hated it! I said I would never read the author again...but....then I gave him a chance with Emily, Alone and loved it. I will have to look for this one you have found too!
So far, so good. :) (Wish You Were Here).
Deleteohhhhh, you hit pay dirt as far as I'm concerned.
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca. Oh, I would have loved those columns! Could put them to good use.
ReplyDeletePlease check out my post today (June 7, Saturday) as it's about a new blogger.
Hope you have a splendid weekend. Susan
