I find myself with little time and no real outlet in which to sell items
I've acquired over the years.
I still consider them treasures
and they represent good memories to me,
but they are taking up space that needs to be emptied.
Whatever shall I do?
It's a dilemma for me as well. Buying a stall in a collectible mall seems to be the least time consuming. The downside is you actually have to haul it down and price it. If it doesn't sell then you have to haul it home or to a place to donate. I have elected to just donate and be done with it.
ReplyDeleteThe rocking horses are in such perfect condition. How lucky you were to find them. Enjoying the pictures. Keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteDo you have consignment or resale shops near by ?
ReplyDeleteI haven't looked into that specifically, Dee. I'd just like to be done with it in one swoop!
DeleteOh Rebecca. Wouldn't you love to have a booth in a flea market, even if it were a one-shot deal? I would. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. No yard sales, though. People want the things for almost free. ha! Once, I had 50 cents on an item and the person asked if I'd sell it for a quarter. ha hahaha Take care. Susan
ReplyDeleteI dread the thought of a garage sale! But the thought of a booth doesn't thrill me, either. I don't know.....I'm thinking of friends, their hobbies & interests, etc. and trying to give away items that I think aren't too junky, etc. It's HARD :)
