Dashed in and out of my Favorite Thrift Store yesterday...
just long enough to spend $1.25 for these three items.
A 75"x45" vintage curtain panel (pretty sure I bought the other one there several months ago (need to check my stash); a plaid tin; and a thick book of "Family Fun & Games".
Yes, we ARE game players in our household--
and always interested in trying a NEW one.
Love that curtain panel.
ReplyDeleteIt looks even better in person! I'm hoping to find the other panel. I will hang them alternately with my current panels. If I don't find the other panel, I may cut this one in half and have two shorter ones.....
DeleteDefinitely worth the stop...I need to get out and some looking....but then, where would I put anything more????
ReplyDeleteI'm actually in the same "boat" (where would I put anything more)!
DeleteGreat finds! Love the tartan tin!
ReplyDeleteMe, too (the tartan tin). It joins a few others of different shapes and sizes.
DeleteGreat finds. I like the tin, useful for filling with holiday cookies.
ReplyDeleteExactly, Darla (filling the tin with cookies or candies to give away)!
DeletePlaid? Did someone say "plaid"???!!
ReplyDeleteLove your new tin, Rebecca,
You made me smile when you said you think you bought the other matching floral panel
several months ago --- that's something I would do too! LOL
Nice finds.

I THOUGHT of you when I saw the tin :) If you lived closer, I would happily hand it to you - along with a few others I have, too.....
DeleteSo glad you found some wonderful treasures, Rebecca. Susan
ReplyDeleteThat curtain panel...wow! I want to go thrifting with you. ;)
