Yep! This is how we roll!
Especially when we stumble on one of those rare, curbside treasures!
Here yesterday; gone today.
We decided to sell is "as is" and dream about what might have been.

It looks pretty good as is.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great find.

It had so much character. If I needed it, I would have had Gary patch the veneer and then paint it. I didn't need it, so we sold it--within 24 hours of "finding" it!
Deletewhoa, that was one wonderful find. would love to see it finished up, but pretty as is.
ReplyDeleteIt really DID have beautiful lines, hardware, all the old wooden castors were there....it would have been beautiful painted/distressed white. I asked the buyer to post photos of the finished product!
DeleteNo way! You didn't find this along the curb. Tell me you didn't, Rebecca. I saw one of these in a "painted/distressed white" and it was gorgeous. What a find! xo
ReplyDeleteSure did! That's what we would have done with it had we needed it (if our house weren't already full and overflowing).
DeleteSince we can seldom sell something for the price required to include labor when remodeling it, we decided to sell it "as was". It was snatched up within 15 minutes of listing. I wasn't surprised.
