An hour thumbing through magazines
at Barnes and Noble (does anyone else do this?)
found me admiring these interiors...
Clearly, I gravitate toward rooms full and overflowing!
Eclectically traditional. Layered.
Full of paintings, books, colors and textures.
Pretty rooms, though most of them have too much stuff for me. I'd go for #3. I like that dining room very much. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteI know. I'm aware that I like "too much stuff". I DO like that dining room, too, but my eye is mainly drawn to darker colors and "too much stuff"!
DeleteI like the room with the red sofa and the paintings. I love spending time in a room with too much stuff, it's cozy. I fight it all the time. I keep my life as simple as possible and I have to keep it spacious and uncluttered just so I don't spend my time straightening and dusting. If I had live in help that cleaned and dusted daily I would love a cozy room.
ReplyDeleteI guess I find them very cozy too....You're right - live in help would make it doable. Alas, I don't have live in help. :(
DeleteMore is more....I ALWAYS SAY! (O:

I love sitting and going through their magazines too!
ReplyDeleteWish you lived nearby, Rebecca. I have stacks here that we could go through too! :)

Love the same kinds of interiors that you do.
Oh, I have stacks ALSO! Sometimes the "oldies" are the best (that probably means I'm getting old...)
DeleteI enjoy your taste and am drawn to the rooms that are full with interesting colors and objects but I tend to lean to a simple country style and limited objects. I admit I also go to the book store and look at the magazines :)
