outfit for second sunday of advent

I worked my wardrobe staples to come up
with something festive.
Gold belt, herringbone short-sleeved jacket
worn over a green, floral tee...
accented with a Christmas tree pin
from my collection.

We enjoyed a weekend excursion to nearby small town Roanoke.  Browsing the shops
kindled my imagination for decorating our own porch for the season.  Isn't this one inspiring?
I'll see what I can come up with by "shopping our attic"!

  4. I envy your ability to wear belts. They are so IN right now! I wore my basic black slacks, black shell and went with a purple suede-like jacket that is about 10 yrs old, and black patent heels. I thought the purple went well with Advent, LOL! Can't wait to see what you do with your porch...!

  6. Dropping by to say thank you so much, my dear for your concern. Yes, I've been busy, unfortunately not so happy :( No much mood to blog.
This is a nostalgic time for me, this year is the first one that I'm going to spend Christmas just with my husband. The two alone.....

But you look so great darling. Love your jacket and you mixed prints very well. Of course the belt is an accessorize that I share my love with. Your pin is so cute.

I'll look forward to see how your porch will be when done. Love your Christmas' spirit!!!!

Much love your way and again thank you my friend!!!
