ideal

Hubby is out of town, so yesterday I gifted myself with some leisurely strolls
through a couple of thrift stores...
two of my Favorite Thrift Stores, in fact!
Here's looking at what I brought home with me.
I'm especially fond of this fabric "throw".  The colors don't show up as brightly
as they are in person  For only $.75, I think it is my favorite purchase of the day.
Seldom do I pass up an Ideals Christmas if it is in good condition.
This one was!
What an "Ideal" outing for so little money.
This was only $.30!  I googled it and then realized what a great find it was!

  1. All great finds, Rebecca, but my absolute favorite item you brought home is the Tasha Tudor Christmas book. I'm a big fan of her work and lifestyle. Such an interesting woman. . .truly one of a kind. Enjoy!

    1. Hi, Jackie :)
They are very hard for me to pass up....
And I use them as greeting cards sometimes!

  3. I'm so jealous of your thrift stores! We have none with prices even close to that low!

    1. I'm down to 3 that still price in a range I can afford. Even at that, a person has to "scour" a bit...

  4. I have the first two items actually, that is my favorite dish pattern and my everyday dishes. The second, a stained glass nativity I also picked up in a thrift store. I love Tasha Tudor and that book is a real prize as well!

    1. I have several different blue & white dish patterns that I mix and match for everyday. I couldn't pass up these 3 at a quarter each! I'd really enjoy seeing a photo of your stained glass nativity. Sounds beautiful.

  5. Great catches. The colorful throw will be great for this chilly time of year.

  6. Wow, what finds you made! I need to have a day of digging deeply in thrift stores. Hubby was left unattended while I was in writer meeting this morning and I found a few things at flea market that I (don't) need. But his weren't the bargains you got . All super!

    1. Since I really don't need a thing, I can afford to hold out for the most ridiculous "bargains", LOL!

  9. Great treasures - of course the Blue Willow plate caught my eye right away. I've collected that pattern for years.
