Disclaimer: These photos were taken at night.
I'm well aware that their quality is less than wonderful.
But...
Clean up has commenced.
With only one small possibility of construction dust remaining,
I could wait no longer to begin my trial arranging of the
dining area of our kitchen.
A lamp or two were added.
And then there were five!
We took a break from it all this evening
and played a game of Upwords
Always nice to arrange (our rearrange) our home, especially after dusty construction work. There's always dust around here -- it is a desert country after all.
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to arrange or rearrange our collections, giving rooms a different look. What is the paint color on your walls?

Thanks, Lorraine. The color is called Teddy Bear. It's been on our walls for quite awhile. We tried our best to match it to paint the new part of the wall and it went on a little darker (maybe the other faded some). So my husband will be painting the other two walls when he's finished with the "new" old room
DeleteWe HAD a lovely afternoon with my sister & her hubby and my father. Cookout and table games. Nice weather, too. Hope YOU have a great week also. ♥
It is fun to rearrange isn't it? I like you lighting. I have trouble getting lighting just right. I need to see to knit and read and don't always sit in the same chair. It is an ongoing search for the right lamp.
ReplyDeleteThis room doesn't get a lot of natural light, so lighting is always a challenge. I think with this new arrangement I might have stumbled onto the best lighting options since we moved in 13 years or so ago! I agree. It IS always an ongoing search for the right lamp!
DeleteYour changes are looking good.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It kind of makes the mess worthwhile :)
DeleteYour house looks so beautiful but homely at the same time xxx
