Another Black Skirt


I can't get enough of them!  I found this one - a corduroy - in a thrift store in Gridley, IL.  (This happens to be the town in which I attended elementary school!)  I tried it on this morning and can see from the photo that I need to wear different shoes when leaving the house.

    Not SO tall - 5'5". I think it is probably a combination of the long skirt and the camera angle that gives that illusion.

    Hey Rebecca, it's all relative! When you are 5' 1-1/2" while stretching, 5'5" seems downright TALL! ha ha!!

    This outfit looks GREAT! But I agree, you'll need some toed black shoes probably...since the corduroy skirt definitely is beyond the sandals of summer. (And the bare feet that I prefer!)

    Thanks for weighing in, Jacquelyn! You're right about several things in your comment! Yeah, I didn't actually wear it - just got anxious to try it on (I didn't at the thrift shop since it cost so little).

    i think i own about 5 or 6 black skirts myself! and who knows how many pairs of black pants i own!
