I just had to "play" a bit more (see last post).
Two napkin ring possibilities...
Wooden and clunky or Mexican-made pottery?
(By the way, I bought these black slacks for $1
on the same shopping trip in which I purchased the placemats.)

How about this blue primitive-style heart pocket stuffed with a blue doily?
Add blue glasses...
Maybe the heart would be better hung in the bedspring wreath?
This could work!
My fascination with blue and white
and thrifted treasures continues!
I can't get over it.
I like the heart on the plate. Looks great. I also love blue and white. I have a few Delft pieces and some blue willow dishes. Blue and white make me so happy. Just so serene.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to "come over" and see if you've posted YOUR blue & white lately????
DeleteRebecca, your thrifted treasures are always so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan. I don't go as much as I used to, but sure get a lot of joy out of what I have!
DeleteI'll NEVER get over blue & white! My house is full of blue! It DOES make me happy and serene! I have those same blue plaid cloth napkins! I like the vase with the silverware...great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that Romancing The Home might be the impetus you needed as Spring is ushered in?
ReplyDeleteI'm getting the Creative juices flowing again too and have already begun my massive Spring Cleaning Project... which shall surely last long past Spring. *Winks*

Enjoyed your blue and white treasures, Rebecca, 1$ for those slacks, I need to go thrifting with you, we don't have good thrift shops in our area. And cannot figure thatone out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Sue

ReplyDeleteYou know I'm another fan of blue and white. That little heart wall pocket is precious.
