This morning: A thrifted T, belt and necklace...
topped with a thrifted brown denim jacket...
wearing a thrifted, Jones corduroy skirt
and photographed via a thrifted mirror.
Style doesn't get MUCH thriftier than this!
Well, actually, yes it does.
I wore the same outfit yesterday.
I don't plan to see the same set of people today.
(Not that it would matter.)
Love that limey green tee! And yes, I do wear the same outfit more than once in a row. Sometimes it is nice to already have things thought out, matched up, and ready to go!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in those colors! Very fallish! Confession time. I do wear the same outfit two days in a row if I am FOR SURE not seeing the same people. I will wear the same black slacks twice even when seeing the same people, but never a blouse twice. I have convinced myself no one notices black slacks.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you think! "No one notices black slacks." :)
DeleteThat's a very nice outfit, my friend, and I love that huge frame!
ReplyDeleteNice outfit, Rebecca. You are a good thrifter! Are you going to paint the frame and use it for a mirror, picture or what? Isn't foraging for treasure FUN? I love it. Susan
ReplyDeleteSusan, since I have a lot of mirrors and little wall space left, I'll probably re-sell :)
DeleteI've found that I can pick up the best frames at yard sales or flea markets....sometimes the prints in them are not so good...but the frames!
ReplyDeleteWhat are people thinking when they discard or sell frames for hardly anything. They are expensive to buy new....and some of the older frames are quite valuable (and lovely.)
I KNOW, Jackie! This one may be the most impressive one I've found yet! (I DID find one last Saturday propped up against the "free" table. I snatched it up in a hurry. It was fancy, too. Just not as wide a frame as this one....plus this one has the original back, etc.)
DeleteMy question to you: Do you remember what your neighbor/colleague/partner had on yesterday? It is not "the look" but it is the "smell." Sorry to be a bit crude, but that is my criteria. Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteExactly, Linda!
DeleteThe tee shirt colour looks really good on you. Well worth wearing for a second day.
ReplyDeleteThe T has such a nice colour and you styled it very well. You look lovely.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a nice weekend.
xoxo
Nice outfit so why not wear it two days in a row. I would enjoy owning a long corduroy skirt I think
ReplyDeleteDarla
Next to my denim ones, they're my favorites, Darla!
