close up to our tree... |
A casual wool vest brings color to an otherwise drab palette. All clothing items thrifted, including the Christmas tree pin on my vest! Photos of the Nativity Display will be posted later today.
See a few Nativity Display photos HERE.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great vest .. to dress up or down .. it will look great with a jean skirt or pants too. I just bought my Christmas outfit at the Hospice Thrift Store this week. Will have to post a few pics soon .. You have inspired me to start wearing skirts. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteHeather, I'm SO glad you commented. Don't know why I "lost" you. I won't let it happen again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely vest! It makes you look very Christmassy!
ReplyDeleteI do love red! Looks like you have a great window for your beautiful Christmas tree. I've never seen anything like those leaves?
ReplyDeleteThe vest does indeed add just the right bit of color to the outfit. I love winter plaids like that.

Ms. Rebecca...you ALWAYS looks great!!! Some day I would love to visit your home...I love how you decorate...very much to my own taste!! :) HOPE your day is full of lots of happy blessings!
ReplyDeleteHi my dear-I do love your vest and the Christmas tree brooch is just gorgeous too! xx
ReplyDeleteDeb, You are welcome ANYtime. It truly would make my day to find you at my front door!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend that dresses "thrifty" too. I thought it would be fun to photograph her all winter and see if she had changed into a different top every day. I think she has enough thrift store finds to do that.

Your outfit today is lovely Rebecca. And yesterday's one also. Your home is beautifully and elegantly decorated, it looks very welcoming and cosy on a cold day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday for a few weeks time!
Hi Rebecca...Loved seeing the Nativity sets. Show more! The little leggo one was a hoot.
ReplyDeleteWanted to thank you for visiting and commenting on my dollhouse. I think the little gingerbread house was made from an index card. I cut out little sides, front, back and roof. The decorations are sprinkles, like you use on cupcakes....all glued on.
Oh, DO decorate one of yours and show it.l'd love that! Susan
