I'm back! Well, the wardrobe part of "me".
Clothes weren't on my shopping list until I returned to
a comfortable "poundage" (if you catch my drift).
I'm almost there.
Enough that I fit into some of the clothes waiting for me
in my closet.
Thrifted clothes - like this jacket, sleeveless dress and belt.
More to come.
Incidentally, I think every single item in this picture
came from a thrift store or was found on a curb
(like the faux fireplace).
...globe, white creamers/pitchers, pillows, chair, chalk board, white framed mirror on the wall, corner shelf...

Well done, Rebecca! You always look lovely, but I know you're happier when you fit your favourites.
ReplyDeleteYou are the queen of the thrifters!
Looking good, Rebecca! I am so happy for you. Been working on the same but no grand results for the work put in...won't give up--yet. Love those white pitchers on the wall. An fear they will fall off? Hubby told me recently I had to much weight in kitchen cupboards...making few changes.
ReplyDeleteI had no fear until you MENTIONED it, Bookie :)
DeleteIt's been hanging there long enough that I think it's OK. Just won't add another thing to it - not that there's any room....
Congrats Rebecca what a great accomplishment!! So happy for you. I remember reading your posts about a year ago and how frustrated you were with the weight gain! I hope the changes really bring a renewal for you with much health and vitality ~Love Heather
ReplyDeleteThank you, Heather. It was about time I took some action :)
Deleteso proud of you and more than a little jealous!!!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh. Thanks. (And no reason to be jealous.)
DeleteGood for you, Rebecca. You look very nice. Susan
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. I appreciate your affirmation.
DeleteI'm proud of your weight loss, Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous.
Thank you, Jackie. I'm feeling good. That's the REAL goal. :)
DeleteGood for you getting back into the clothes in your closet. Isn't it frustrating to "outgrow" what you have? You look so nice and of course so do all the thrifted items in the room. I long ago deemed you the Thrifting Queen, but you know that.

Well done on persevering and achieving your weight loss, Rebecca. It's lovely to see you wearing your fabulous clothes and exuding confidence again! x
ReplyDeleteMy dear Rebecca you look soooooooo great!!!! Well done with your achievements (despite I've never seen you need it).
ReplyDeleteLove your dress, so spring(ly).
I've been so much sporadic in blogging it seems I always find an excuse, but I guess it's my "fear" talking.... so thank you so much my dear for always be there with your kind and right words.
Many blessings and love

Hi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful in this photo, I'm glad you are able to get back to the poundage that you enjoy being at. The dress and jacket are lovely and look wonderful on you.
I struggle to stay at a size 8 or 10, but it's worth the struggle. I don't think I look good any heavier because I am so short. (I don't wish to be thin, just not chunky.)
Your surroundings sound like mine, and it looks somewhat like mine. White pitchers and thrifted things, beautiful!!!
Hugs, Cindy
Me, too, Cindy--"not thin...just not chunky"!
DeleteBeautiful clothes, beautiful thrift finds, beautiful YOU!
ReplyDeleteThat is truly amazing. What wonderful items. And you always look so nice.
ReplyDeleteI LIKE this outfit. Looks comfortable and fun. Good job!
