In the process of not simply de-cluttering but de-owning,
I emptied (and sold) two small hanging spice racks (with doors, etc.).
Inside one were these miniature bottles.
They are awaiting my decision about whether to de-clutter or de-own them.
This is HARD!
Would your hubby consider making you a bottle tree?
ReplyDeleteThese are TINY Claudia - like 2" to 3" tall.
DeleteMaybe a vignette outside somewhere. The sun can shine on them and through them and you can sit on your porch and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Rebecca. Every time I decide to get rid of colored glass objects they somehow end up back on a windowsill. What's a mad collector to do? Susan P.S. Did you sell your Victoria Magazines?
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to be understood, Susan! And no, I didn't get any takers on my Victoria magazines. Yet.
DeleteI have my blue bottle collection in my kitchen window. I love the sun shining through them in the morning. I'm trying to do some de-cluttering also. You are right, it is hard!
ReplyDeleteOn Instagram I follow Bottled Up Designs. They make beautiful jewelry out of old bottles. I'm thinking make a windchime. Look on Pinterest for glass bottle windchimes! :)
ReplyDeleteNow THOSE are two suggestions I would have never thought of! Thanks, Debbie (although I'm not very crafty......)!
DeleteClearing out IS hard. What made you decide to start going in that direction? Did I miss your decision in a post?
ReplyDeleteDarla
I find coloured glass awesome!
