I didn't realize I hadn't posted this on my "Thrifty Style" blog!
Oh well.
It fits today.
And it was discovered in a Free Box at a garage sale a few weeks ago.
Here it hangs on our front porch.
I've always wanted one.
I've always wanted one.
Certainly does fit today!
ReplyDeleteBea-u-tiful (for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain!) What a great find, Rebecca. Hope your Fourth was terrific. Susan
ReplyDeleteyou've never had a flag before?? well you have it hanging correctly...did you know that? :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this picture!!!
No other way to hang it and have it face the road....the "tag" hangs inside so I figured it must be OK.
DeleteI have a five foot by 10 foot flag hanging on my porch. It is huge, but looks great on my porch. I got it for two dollars at a garage sale, years ago. It also make a great sun screen on hot afternoons.
ReplyDeleteI love decorating for the Fourth of July, and have three other flags hanging, as well as a patriotic theme on my mantle.

I'm coming over to "the Hill" to see if there's a picture! Sounds SO beautiful.....
DeleteOops! Just remembered I don't know if there IS a "hill" and, if so, how to find it. Do you have a blog, Nancy?
DeleteAnd Nancy, did we graduate from the same high school? Just realizing I'm not sure "who" you are.
