"The biggest room in the world, is the room for improvement." (Unknown)
“There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.”
(Aldous Huxley)
"We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference,
ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up
to big differences that we often cannot foresee."
Your man is indeed amazing. What a wonderful cedar chest. Reminds me of the one I was given for my 16th birthday. It was a "Lane" cedar chest and in those days they called them Hope Chests.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing me that memory.

On "my man's" blog, you'll see that this particular hope chest was built by what seems to have been the first commercial company building them! Up to the time this company formed, they were constructed by individuals. Isn't that interesting?
DeleteSuper Duper! Both chest and hubby!
ReplyDeleteHe does have a talent....you lucky duck. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Rebecca. Your hubs does a great job. Don't you just love the cedar chest? Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog. Susan
ReplyDeleteUNBELIEVABLE!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous transformation!
LOVE it now!
Had no idea you could get a stain like that out
of wood. I think "your man" is a magician.
:)
That is a GORGEOUS piece! I love this before and after :)
