Encouraged by Abigail's words, I took a photographic tour
through two rooms in our home.
As you can see, I am NOT one who "underuses" mirrors!
Mirrors definitely "expand horizons" and "add depth" around here!
ALL of the mirrors in my house were purchased at garage sales or thrift stores.
(And as you can see, I am NOT a minimalist when it comes to home style.)
Do you have a favorite mirror in YOUR house?
I love mirrors too and have just picked up a bathroom cabinet that looks identical to yours at a boot sale for £3.00 x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy! Mine holds card games, dice, & other game pieces and hangs in the eating area of our kitchen. How about yours?
DeleteYour mirrors look great. I'll have to check the link you posted. I admit I don't have many mirrors - maybe I will have to think about looking for some. I do always need at least one full length mirror in the house though - and that along with the usual bathroom mirrors is all I currently have.

Hi there!! All of your mirrors were wonderful finds, We only have a couple which aren't very decorative! Hope you're well and I hope you have a great week xxx
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lot of mirror but they look so nice. I don't really have any mirrors, one small square in the living room. I do have a mirror tray, again small, I bought in a flea market in the guest bedroom. Silly bauble but I can't seem to turn loose of it.
ReplyDeleteI have mirrors... big one across the vanity in the small bathroom... full length mirror on the door in the same bathroom... another mirror over the throne in the same bathroom... Everyone who uses my bathroom comments on all the mirrors in there... ha ha I have full mirrored closet doors in my bedroom and a large mirror over the dresser.. in the guest bedroom there is a large mirror over the dresser... in the other bath I have a large mirror over the sink and a full length mirror on the door... I have a full length mirror in my laundry room... and another full length mirror just stuck in a corner in the dining room... I am going to go vist the link and see what I can do differently... Loved this post today...
ReplyDeleteSounds like you could have written Abigail's post! I'd love to see your bathroom :)
DeleteI might just have to do my mirrors one day... and I forgot all the mirror tiles I have on the whole wall at the end of my hall.. ha ha
DeleteI love your decorating style Rebecca. You have such a good eye for things. All your mirrors look great.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhh, Dee. You're such an affirmer ♥
DeleteHi Rebecca...I have a mirror like thenone in your second photo hanging over the fireplace. Someday, if I ever find a big gold-framed one I like I'll replace it. But for now it works fine. I love mirrors in decorating but don't like looking in them. ha hahahSUSAN
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for the blog. I love mirrors and collect some. I had more but luckily my 3 daughters have helped take some off my hands! More room to add new (old) ones!!
ReplyDeleteI love mirrors. There is even one 'hanging' on the floor. The grand kids cannot understand why. There is no reason. I'm out of room. But if I told them that they would suggest that I get rid of it, but I NEED it for my skaters to skate on in the winter time...
ReplyDeleteI KNEW you'd love mirrors! And I just realized I have one for skaters, too. I just need some skaters...
