comfortable cowl collar
A cowl neckline top is similar to a turtleneck but has much more material making it hang in a scooping fashion on the chest. It is commonly seen on sweaters, camisoles, dresses, and even some wedding gowns. There is no set size for a cowl neckline. It can be quite small and just gather neatly right near your neck or it can have lots of extra material and hang quite low on the chest. Either way, it’s usually quite flattering.
This lightweight sweater also has a sweet button on each sleeve. The sweater is comfortable. I enjoyed wearing it around the house today and rearranged the collar several times...

I love cowl necklines, you can feel so chic ;) wearing a garment with it. I like the purse from the previous post, very tropical and warm.
ReplyDeleteI like cowl necklines too. I have a short sleeved black tee shirt with a similar smallish cowl and it is a basic for winter. I wear it under sweaters that have a plain round high neckline (which I'm not wild about) or even a lower oval. I'm amazed at how handy it is as a layer for so many winter pieces.

Hi there-what a lovely little sweater, the cowl neck detail makes it look so much more special! Have a good weekend xx
ReplyDeleteIndeed such a pretty sweater and you're right about the necklines.

oooo! very nice sweater! I only have one in my wardrobe...a light gray "cashmere" but it sheds horribly onto my black pants. There is something that makes you feel a bit 'stepped up' when wearing a cowl neckline I think!
