It was a good evening at Borders tonight. I especially enjoyed the article from which these excerpts were taken.   I am happy to have found the name of my decorating style - "Comfortably Cluttered"!

  1. Ha! Rebecca, that's a great style! I think it would describe my style of decorating, too! Hope you have a nice weekend. Susan

  2. I have to say I'm not very happy with my cluttered look these days. I'm afraid I've gone beyond "comfortable" and entered the realm of the messies. Hey I like your new look here!!

  3. Well I don't consider myself to be cluttered but I do think that I have too much stuff. So maybe I am cluttered and am just fooling myself!

  5. I really like your crafty, chic, comfortable clutter--it looks great! I have "mix and match messy" and that really needs to change!

  6. I disagree with you about your style, Donna. It IS comfortable and makes YOUR house/home different from others. I personally see NO point in cookie cutter decorating. In fact, I'm not even sure that I "decorate". I (we) LIVE in our house. It is HOME. It is comfortably cluttered. I guess that's what it comes down to :)

  7. This looks like an interesting article. I love your response to Donna in the comments. Yes, we too live in our home not just decorate it.
