free and reasonable and repaired

I'm thinking a child's potting bench here...
Stay tuned.
I'm still thinking about the pair of these.
Large; heavy; ornamental.
They had too many possibilities to pass them up.

We found these items at a garage sale on the way
to our Sunday afternoon outing.
I was thrilled.
I found this box some time ago at a thrift store (I believe).
My husband constructed the missing "handle" on one side
and brought it into the house today,
cleaned and shined.
I like its simple lines.

  1. Unique finds! Will be interesting to see how you use both of them.

  2. Ah, looks like you picked up some real "potentials"!!

  3. I love finding inexpensive items and repurposing them. Being creative and saving money are two of my favorite things.

  4. Love your finds, Rebecca....You always find such neat things....and have the best uses planned for them. Yea you!!!!

  5. Rebecca these are some great finds! I can't wait to see what you do with them.

  6. The ornamental Light Fixtures are really nice, so many possibilities! Thanks for stopping by... yes, that new Shop had a great new slant catering to Mantiques, so many Guys do also enjoy Junquing, Thrifting & Collecting so its nice that they have a Shop now in the area that specializes in acquiring items that would be perfect for a Man Cave. *Winks* Though I must say, they had plenty there for us Ladies to swoon over as well, so a very nice balance of product.

    Dawn... The Bohemian

  7. Can't wait to see how you use your finds. The restored box is very elegant so you are off to a good start.

  8. I love that hanging lantern/thingy. I can envision that on a closed in porch or a screened in porch. That would be a fun find. Wow, that round table... what were the people thinking who threw THAT out???

Hope to return your visit soon! Thanks for leaving a message...
