SO...
this is how the free swing turned out!
My husband is amazing.
The cushions were thrift store finds.
We're hoping for warmer weather this weekend to give it a good workout!

Super Duper!!!
ReplyDeleteVERY nice!
ReplyDeleteYour husband IS amazing! Looking at the finished piece I think it is what I call a "glider" - it actually sits on the ground, right? Really nice.

Yes - it's much like a glider except it swings from chains attached to the frame. It DOES sit on the ground.
DeleteIt is awesome! What a transformation. I love how one can turn a "sow's ear into a silk purse"!
ReplyDeleteGreat job.

I love it! I would love to find something similar here but I think those swing seats are an American thing, sadly! x
ReplyDeleteThe swing looks great!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

ReplyDeleteOhmyGOSH! It turned out amazing! And you even found cushions at a thrift shop? Talk about finding favor!
ReplyDeleteI hope you and Yourguy find lots of time to sit there together and enjoy! Have you found anything else lately? You really scored on this one!
Yes, I have that book -- and I adore it and you reminded me that I need to reread it!
