I'm pretty ecstatic over this "find"!
I broke up my 5 hour trip to a speaking engagement yesterday
by stopping at a thrift store in Watseka IL.
I bought 5 Golden Books (children's) to add to my collection
and a couple of other things....
but this was my favorite find of the day.
It's larger than the other paint-by-number paintings I have...
I hope to stop at another shop on the way home.
Who knows WHAT else I'll stumble on?!?
You sure made good use of your time!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you so much for the nice comments you left on my Passages blog!

ReplyDeleteMy Uncle Buddy does the most beautiful paint by number pictures. Huge ones. One of his hangs in the church he attends. I'm so glad you are finding such nice things.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to climb right into that sweet scene, Rebecca. Susan
DeleteVery nice Rebecca I like this one great color in it!! Enjoy your new treasure Love Heather
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I've visited you here. I felt like I had a delicious novel to read and did enjoy your treasures so. I have all of Alexandra Stoddard's books, too...and still never pass one up--either for my daughter or nieces. I usually head for the books first.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful find! Would love to see what Golden books you bought...I collect them, too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a paint by number picture in a thrift store for ages. Your's in a great example.
