what would YOU have done?

A friend gave us these two vintage (antique?) tools.
This is what WE did with them.
What would YOU have done?

  1. I think that is a wonderful way to display them.

  2. These places look great where you put them. But I do wonder if they will rust, run and then stain the side of your house?

  3. It looks like you found a good home for those tools. Not sure where I could have put them.

  7. You did exactly what I would have done....put them somewhere safe and where I could see and enjoy them. I just had a thought....what do you think the first owners of our antiques would think, when they saw them as yard and building *art* ?
We've had rusty things hang around before....and they don't tend to discolor wood or brick.

  8. I think they're in a wonderful spot!!! I do love "odd" antiques like tools and such.

  10. Frankly, I'd be using that scythe!

  11. I'd just hope that that scythe is securely fastened, in case of a windstorm!
